Work continues on Whitehall Gig David Thorleif Heim. Planking (glueing 1/4″ X 3/4″ cedar strips) is complete and after lots of sanding, fiberglass was applied to the outside of the hull. The gig was turned over for sanding and glassing the inside of the hull.
Volunteers are working on Wednesday and Sunday at noon at the VCB shop on the south side of Pier 40. Anyone who wants to lend a hand is welcome. No experience needed.
