A salute to the crew that laid the first fiberglass on the gig today. There were at least ten willing boatbuilders mixing, rolling, scraping, and massaging the fiberglass that went on the starboard side. After two hours it looked really good: clean and tight and smooth. This week we will do a bit of sanding and prepping. Next Sunday we will lay glass cloth over the port side. I hope to see many of you then.
